How much Internet traffic does the system consume?

We set up the system economically: the main video is written to a disk in the car. Only short videos of events (accident, sudden maneuver) or stream at the request of the dispatcher are transmitted via the Internet. This saves your communication budget.

Can the camera see at night in complete darkness?

Yes. We use cameras with powerful IR illumination. All details are visible in complete darkness (in the cabin, body or near the tank) at a distance of up to 10-15 meters.

Is it possible to listen to what is being said in the cockpit?

Yes, we install active microphones. This allows you to control the driver’s communication with passengers, dispatchers or traffic police inspectors.

How many cameras can be connected to one unit?

Standard set - 4 cameras (Forward, Driver, Interior/Cargo, Rear view). Industrial recorders support expansion to 8 or 12 cameras.

What happens if a car enters an area without communication?

The video will continue to be recorded to the hard drive. As soon as the connection (4G or Wi-Fi based) appears, event data will be uploaded to the server. Nothing will be lost.

Is it difficult for a driver to break the system?

The equipment is mounted discreetly, the wires are protected by a metal sleeve, and the MDVR unit itself is locked in a steel box with a key. It is impossible to accidentally break or turn it off.

Can this be used for passenger counting?

Yes, there are special stereo cameras that count people entering and leaving with 98% accuracy. This helps combat revenue theft on buses.
