It is important to know what is happening with the cargo.\n\nSituations often occur in logistics: the driver stopped for lunch at a teahouse, and at that time someone opened the van and pulled out a box of goods. Or the forwarder decided to unload part of the goods “to the left” on the way to the client.\n\nDoor opening sensors turn the body into a safe. How it works: Reed switch and Bluetooth

We use reliable industrial solutions that cannot be fooled by a conventional magnet:\n\n• Magnetic (Reed switches): Installed on the doors of Isuzu, Gazelle, Ford Transit vans. They are activated when the contact is opened.\n• Limit switches: Mechanical buttons for sliding doors (as on Damas).\n• Wireless (BLE): Sensors that are glued to the doors of refrigerators without drilling the body (so as not to disturb the thermal insulation). They see a change in the distance between the doors and a change in illumination.

What happens when the doors are unattended?

Lack of access control to the cargo compartment creates risks that conventional insurance does not cover:

Partial theft

Theft of 1-2 boxes of goods while parked. The driver may not even notice this until acceptance.

Loss of cold

In the heat of +45°C, the driver opened the doors of the refrigerator wide and went to fill out the documents. In 20 minutes, the temperature inside soared and the cargo was damaged.

"Left" passengers

Truck drivers put people in the back (on watermelons or bags), which is strictly prohibited by traffic regulations and is life-threatening.

Cargo throwing

Is it possible to fool the sensor with a magnet?

We use industrial reed switches with protection against sabotage. If an attacker tries to use his magnet to fool the system, the sensor will still work or show an error.

Do I need to drill the body of a refrigerator?

No. We recommend wireless Bluetooth sensors. They are attached with special heavy-duty tape or adhesive-sealant. The tightness of the isothermal van is not compromised.

Will the siren sound when opening?

Yes. We can connect the sensor to a standard horn or an additional siren. If it is opened unauthorized, the machine will start beeping loudly, scaring away thieves.

Is it suitable for sliding doors (Damas/Labo)?

Yes. We install special contact groups (limit switches) for sliding doors, which work reliably even with shaking and dust.

How quickly does the notification arrive?

Almost instantly (delay 1-3 seconds). You will know about the opening before the thief has time to take anything out.

Can opening be allowed in certain zones?

Yes. In Wialon you can set up a rule: “Alarm when doors are opened OUTSIDE the Warehouse/Store geofence.” There will be no notifications at the unloading point, but an alarm will sound on the highway.

Does this affect the car battery?

Sensor consumption is negligible. Wireless ones generally run on their battery for years. Wired ones consume milliamps and will not drain the battery even after a month of inactivity.
