Questions about this service

Is it possible to fool the fuel sensor?

Difficult. We seal the sensor, connectors and tank with numbered seals. Any intervention (power outage, pouring boiling water, shock) is recorded by the system as a “Sabotage” event.

How to deal with “receipts” from gas stations?

Drivers often buy receipts at the highway. Wialon solves this simply: you pay only for the fuel that actually got into the tank according to the sensor. If the driver brought a receipt for 200 liters, but the sensor showed a fill of 150 liters, the difference is not paid.

Does heat (+45°C) affect readings?

Yes, diesel expands when heated. Our sensors have built-in thermal compensation, and program algorithms level out temperature expansion, showing the correct volume in winter and summer.

How to control gas (Methane)?

An ordinary “ruler” will not fit into the cylinder. We install a pressure sensor in the high pressure line. This allows you to see refills and consumption with sufficient accuracy to detect theft.

What to do if the driver drains through the “return” line while on the move?

The level sensor will see that fuel consumption has become abnormally high for the current speed. The system will mark this section of the track as “Suspected drain” or “Increased consumption”.

Is it possible to install the sensor on a plastic tank?

Yes. Modern sensors are suitable for metal and plastic tanks of any shape. The main thing is to carry out the correct calibration (calibration) after installation.

How quickly does the system pay for itself?
